PVR INOX, India’s largest cinema exhibition company, has announced ‘Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar’, a special film festival celebrating Aamir Khan’s contribution to Indian cinema. The festival offers audiences a chance to revisit the journey of one of the industry’s most influential actors and filmmakers.A press conference was held in Mumbai, where Aamir Khan was joined by legendary screenwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar and PVR founder Ajay Bijli for a conversation about the festival. The trio unveiled the trailer of ‘Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar’, adding to the anticipation. The festival will run from March 14, Aamir Khan’s birthday, to March 27.While speaking about Aamir Khan, Javed Akhtar said, “Here are some many Characters. I fear I might forget a few. Aamir was born in 1965, I started in 1965 in Bollywood. Aamir worked in the first film written by me. I was writing the film Faryaaz in Panchgani for Nassir Hussain. He saw Aamir and immediately told Nassir that he is a star and he should start with a romantic film. Aamir’s first film was produced was written by Javed. My son’s first film was with Aamir.”Aamir told Javed Akhtar that he was waiting by for his call post saying no to Farhan for script hearing. When Javed didn’t call, Aamir realised that Farhan must have not spoken to him and he must truly believe in Aamir.Only Aamir could have believed in these character and stories. Aamir did a film with Ashutosh with whom he had a flop before. A new director Farhan came to you with a 3 heroes film and you did it. Who would have done Dangal in their right mind. Currently seen in the role of Abhira, actress Samridhii Shukla suffered an unexpected mishap on the sets of the the ongoing show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. On March 7, the actress sustained a slight burn injury while shooting an important cooking sequence.The incident occurred during a cooking sequence where Abhira is seen preparing kachoris -Armaan’s favorite dish – to mark their first meeting anniversary. As part of the scene, Samridhii Shukla had to deep-fry the kachoris in hot oil. However, during the take, some hot oil accidentally splashed onto her hand, causing a minor burn. Although she quickly stepped back, she still sustained an injury on her forehand. Despite the discomfort, the actress displayed immense professionalism and chose to continue filming without any disruptions. Speaking about the incident, the actress told India Forums, “A bit of hot oil splashed on my hand because I don’t have much experience with deep frying. I think I’m a silver spoon child—my parents never made me do much work. But it’s all safe now.” Fans of the actress can rest assured that she is doing well and has not let the incident affect her dedication to the show.Meanwhile, speaking about the show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to be one of the most popular TV dramas, and Samridhii’s commitment to her role along with her chemistry with Rohit Purohit as Armaan has been receiving much love from audience. A lot of Bollywood films have re-released off late but when it comes to Hollywood, a handful of classics have had a re-run in cinemas. Last month, Interstellar re-released and received a rocking response. However, it just had a one-week run. If you missed watching the cult film in cinemas, here’s a reason for you to rejoice. The film will be back on the big screen on March 14, that too in IMAX. Moreover, Warner Bros will also bring back Dune: Part Two on the same day in theatres.A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Interstellar has a huge demand as it’s a film worth watching in theatres, that too IMAX. However, it re-released on February 7 and had to discontinued from February 14 to accommodate the new releases, Chhaava and Captain America: Brand New World. Both these films got a release in IMAX as well.”The source continued, “Many were aware that Interstellar had just a one week run. Hence, it held very well in the weekdays, collecting Rs. 2 crore plus. Yet, there was a section of moviegoers who missed out the film and they expressed their views online that a one week run for a such a high-demand film was not done. Keeping this feedback in mind, Warner Bros has decided to bring back the film in IMAX.”The source further said, “Warner Bros has also decided to get re-released Dune: Part Two. It also has a following and moreover, it is back in the news after winning the Best Sound and Best Visual Effects awards at the 97th Academy Awards. Both Dune: Part Two and Interstellar will share shows in IMAX screens across the country.”The source maintained, “Yet again, it’s a one week release as Snow White will take up the IMAX screens from March 21.”

A consumer disputes redressal commission in Jaipur has issued notices to Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff regarding an allegedly misleading advertisement for a pan masala brand. The notice was also served to Vimal Kumar Agarwal, chairman of JB Industries, the company behind Vimal Pan Masala.The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Jaipur II, has directed all involved parties to appear for a hearing scheduled for March 19 at 10 AM. The commission, led by chairman Gyarsilal Meena and member Hemlata Agarwal, stated in its notice that failure to appear would result in an ex parte decision. The accused have been instructed to submit their responses within 30 days of receiving the notice.The notice stems from a complaint filed by Jaipur-based advocate Yogendra Singh Badiyal. He alleges that the advertisement falsely promotes the product by claiming “daane daane mein hai kesar ka dum” (every grain contains the power of saffron), which he believes misleads the public into thinking the pan masala is beneficial. Apart from that he has also raised concerns about how the product doesn’t even contain a grain of saffron, further pointing out how this can also cause serious health ailments and something as dangerous as ‘cancer’.According to Mr. Badiyal, this deceptive marketing is driving massive profits for the company while encouraging consumers to use a product that could lead to severe health issues, including cancer. The advocate has demanded legal action against the manufacturer and the actors endorsing the brand, calling for a ban on both the product and its advertisement.
